All elections matter. Too often, the Tories or Reform win because people like us don't show up.

VOTING TOGETHER GIVES US ALL POLITICAL POWER

Millions of people could vote tactically at this year's elections. A big proportion of voters showing up mainly to prevent the right from seizing power. Register as a tactical voter by joining the Movement Forward and we can prove it. Then together we'll tell the new government how they truly can earn our votes next time.

Tactical Advice Explainer

(Mayor of West of England Combined Authority)

We've manually set advice for this mayoralty. While Labour won this contest in 2021 (33%) over the Tories (29%) with the Greens on 22%, more recent elections have shown an increase in the Green's electoral base, especially in Bristol. An opinion poll has put the Greens in the lead, and although Labour is in second place, Reform is close enough behind to justify tactical voting.

Labour won the last election

Tories came 2nd

Green came 3rd

Mayoral elections previously used Supplementary Vote, so voters could choose a 1st and 2nd preference candidate. The Tories abolished the Supplementary Vote system, so you can only vote for one candidate. Therefore we only consider 1st preference votes when making recommendations, and the charts above only reflect 1st preference votes from previous elections.
