All elections matter. Too often, the Tories or Reform win because people like us don't show up.

VOTING TOGETHER GIVES US MORE POLITICAL POWER

Millions of people could vote tactically at this year's elections. A big proportion of voters showing up mainly to prevent the right from seizing power. Register as a tactical voter by joining the Movement Forward and we can prove it. Then together we'll tell the new government how they truly can earn our votes next time.

Tactical Advice Explainer

(Cromarty Firth division)

You can vote for 1 candidate here

We've manually set advice for this division. The analysis is primarily based on the first preference votes and transfer pattern from the last time this ward was fought under STV (a proportional electoral system using ranked preference) on these boundaries - in the 2024 local by-election for two of the four seats, having considered the parties who are standing this time, the result when the last full election was held in 2022, and the detailed analyses of transfers by Ballot Box Scotland. We urge all progressive voters to rank all the candidates save those representing the Tories and Reform UK.

Vote counts missing for Scottish elections

Sorry, we aren't yet able to show vote counts for Scottish elections because they are STV (Single Transferable Vote) and so work differently to the First Past the Post system used elsewhere in the UK. However please rest assured it's on our list to fix this!

In the mean time, you can find the relevant information in the explainer text next to this section.
